#5: How to gain more energy

Do you feel lethargic with no energy? Tired but wired?

Well here is a few of my top tips to help you feel more energised.

  • Eat energising foods. Foods that are live healthy and nutrient dense. Things like green leafy vegetables, whole fresh fruit (that are low on the glycemic index)

  • Get moving - Walking, use the stairs instead of lifts.

  • Get more restful sleep (see my blog on sleep)

  • Do energising exercises

  • Avoid junk food

  • Meditate - try 10 minutes each day

  • Eat foods that give you energy not take it away from you. If you eat certain food and you feel tired afterward avoid these foods

  • Relief stress - learn how to deal with stress

  • Exercise regularly and incorporate HIIT training and strength training because use more muscle so more mitochondria therefore more energy (always seek medical advice before starting any exercise programme)

  • Drink healthy good quality water

Listen to your body, if you feel tired sleep, if you feel hungry eat.

Imagine waking up every morning with more energy.

until next time this is
