#33: Should you actually weight yourself & if so how often?

So should you actually weight yourself? Good question, ha, most of my clients are obsessed by the scales. They are on them every morning.

I really don't think its a good idea as it is really just a bench mark. Your weight can fluctuate so much during the day. It can actually fluctuate as much as 5 lbs from morning to evening.

Some clients when I ask them to jump on the scales are petrified as they believe I am going to judge them by what they weight. I reassure them that I am not really interested in what they weigh as it really doesn't matter. I just need to have a starting point for their records.

How often should you weigh yourself? I recommend once at the start or beginning of your programme or goal, once in the middle of your goal and once at the end of your goal .
