Do you have problems sleeping?

Did you know that phones– IPads– electronic books etc used at bedtime suppress your sleep…?

Electronic devices mess up your melatonin levels and affect your sleep.

Lack of sleep can cause insulin sensitivity and thereby cause fat to be stored around your belly.

Let's discuss 10 the quick tips that you can implement to help you get a better nights sleep

  1. Sleep in complete darkness

  2. Do not take your mobile to bed with you

  3. Make sure your room is well ventilated

  4. Try and get between 7 to 9 hours sleep each night

  5. Wake up thinking pleasant thoughts. This sets your mind up for the day in the right frame of mind

  6. Make sure the room you are sleeping in is at the right temperature

  7. Do not watch TV in bed

  8. Use eye masks, blackout curtains and earplugs

  9. Switch off all electrical devices in your bedroom

  10. Create a bedroom routine
